I'm not really sure what to write today, other than I ought to write because these past three days I have been procrastinating. No, procrastinating is not the right word- I've been busy working on projects and settling myself into a new routine. I've had my fair share of ups and downs this week and blogging would have been depressing. Josh's hours have been ridiculously long lately and I don't get to see much of him anymore so it's up to me (and His Highness) to entertain ourselves. The day usually begins with reading the news (I am an avid news and blog reader), then a little bit of cleanup, a forty-five to hour long walk (depending on how gung-ho I am about walking), reading and project time while watching netflix, and then dinner preparation.
As the hours have been long, Josh has been tired so when we do get to go out, it's a treat. Two nights ago we FINALLY made it down to the boardwalk. We dreamed about life on a sailboat together, and enjoyed the seasonably warm twilight weather. It was very nice to have a chance to decompress, look at the eerily still water and watch the loons come in. However, I think Josh was more occupied with the different boats than birds. I was surprised to see how many people lived in the marina. I love the idea of a houseboat.

| He can be a real creeper when he wants to be. His shirt was one of my projects. Bleach doesn't feel very nice when the residue gets on your contact. |
Aside from Josh's shirt, I've completed a dress, some cake decoration practice, and this...
Sadly my camera stinks. Dad used to take the pictures for me with his ultra fancy camera, but this will have to do. Congrats Dan and Brittney. If there was ever a couple I aspired to be like, it would be these two. They are adorable together, compliment each other so well, and are probably the most easy going people I have ever met. This will be their gift from us. :)
Now onto a new project. And taking his Highness for a walk. I can't stand it when he breathes over my shoulder when I type.
Oh, and the paleo diet is going awesome. I made the mistake of eating grains last week and I will not be doing that for awhile. Not only was I ravenous, but cranky, and my stomach hurt.
