Thank God for Sunshine! (Finally!)

I didn't blog yesterday because, well, I felt a lot like this...
Let's just keep it simple and say I was cranky. I can neither confirm nor deny that, given a chance, I would have ended someone's life in the most terrible way possible. The cravings for sugar and carbs (specifically in the form of chocolate and ice cream) waved their putrid hands at my brain, and I was powerless against them. I am ashamed to say that I ate straight rice flour and sugar. Josh deciding that acquiring a DiGiorno pizza was a matter of life and death certainly didn't help either. Yes, like a zombie stumbling upon fresh brains, I gorged myself on every carb in sight and plowed through numerous servings of paleo diet no-nos. I was able to slay the beast within by giving up and passing out on the couch. I figure one day wouldn't kill me, and now I'm fat, happy, and back on track.

Though I will say, this diet can be dreadfully boring. I'd rather read the pickwick papers while having bamboo chutes stuffed under my nails than have to cook another piece of meat. I hate having to do the dishes and any added dishes makes me even more cranky. Besides, I really miss squishy foods and meat just isn't squishy. If it was, I would be concerned. After yesterday though, I will definitely be adding more carbs to my diet, even if that means one apple with each meal- even apples with sneaky bugs in them. Ugh.

Boomer and I woke up to sunshine which sent him into absolute orbit. He morphed from sweet, cute sleepy puppy into destructive torpedo dog. The blur knocked over water glasses, messed up my tidy living room, and left his toys all over the floor. It was time for the hour long walk. I took some beautiful pictures of spring but those will have to wait for later- the camera cable decided to hitchhike somewhere. Afterwards, we were welcomed by Josh who got to come home early (yay!).  Boomer slept on top of me the rest of the day, while I watched forty episodes of Family Guy with Josh. He's been trying to pass the time all day :D

Remember my pesky fly problem? Well, I'm now certain that Satan enjoys my suffering. There is now a distinct black layer in my vacuum cleaner.

For Boomer, it's a first class cinema experience. I wish this blog was a little more interesting, and my writing a little more creative, but I've got a concert to catch. See you tomorrow!
